Our SOC 2® Report
System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports are independent examinations of a service organization’s controls, performed by independent licensed CPA firms under standards set by the AICPA. Proofig AI has completed a SOC 2 examination and received its SOC 2 report on the organization’s controls relevant to security.
SOC 2 reports give customers and their auditors detailed information about the controls a service organization operates to protect the systems and the data entrusted to it.

Is it safe to upload an unpublished manuscript for an image integrity check?
Yes, with Proofig AI, every uploaded manuscript is analyzed on private, secure servers, and your manuscripts and reports remain fully confidential. They are used only to run the checks you requested, never for any other purpose. Proofig AI has also completed a SOC 2 examination of its controls relevant to security, performed by an independent licensed CPA firm. The same protections apply to every upload, for individual researchers, publishers, institutions and ethics committees.
Does Proofig AI use my manuscripts or images to train its AI models?
No, Proofig AI never uses uploaded manuscripts or images to train its models. Your files are analyzed solely to screen your own manuscript for image integrity issues. Unpublished figures, data and results therefore stay private, which matters when you check work before a journal submission, a grant application or a patent filing.
Can I get a copy of Proofig AI's SOC 2 report?
Yes, if you are a customer, a prospective customer or their auditor. Proofig AI has completed a SOC 2 examination performed by an independent licensed CPA firm and received its SOC 2 report on controls relevant to security. Organizations evaluating Proofig AI for research, editorial or institutional use can request the report for their security or procurement review through Proofig AI’s contact page.
Is Proofig AI a member of STM and COPE?
Yes, Proofig AI is an STM Associate Member and a member of COPE, the Committee on Publication Ethics. Both memberships are listed in the organizations’ member directories.
